Trail description

Only about 20km far from Jyväskylä, almost in the middle of nowhere sits a very gorgeous natural trail in Nyrölä. Short in its length with only 3,5km but very attractive with what it offers. About one third of the trail runs on a wooden boards because of the swamp beneath and the boards will lead you to a cable ferry, which will take you to the beautiful island with a fireplace a sheds to sleep in eventually.

There's a parking lot at the trailhead, but if you come here for a day, be prepared with your own food, because the closest shop is in Tikkakoski about 10km from Nyrölä.
